- Annual Salary: Up to £32,760 (dependent on experience)

About the Role
At Babcock, you’ll maintain and repair military vehicles and electrical equipment, ensuring the UK’s defence capabilities are operational. Your work—ranging from diagnostics to large-scale overhauls—directly supports mission-ready fleets.

Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing, repairing, and overhauling military vehicles and electrical systems
- Diagnosing defects and conducting inspections
- Ensuring proper stock use, returning unused/faulty materials
- Managing ERP (SAP) systems for job card creation and material requests
- Completing quality documentation and test certificates
Note: This role involves manual work (lifting, bending, tool use, prolonged standing) and requires passing a medical questionnaire/examination.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical roles, including dealerships or garages
- Hydraulics expertise
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability

- NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair
- Must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance (see UK Security Vetting Guidance](www.gov.uk))
