Vehicle MET Strip / Fitter Technician

Exeter EX2 | 42.5 hrs per week | £23-26 p/hr

About The Role

As an MET Technician, you will play a vital role in the repair and restoration of vehicles, ensuring they are returned to pre-accident condition with precision and efficiency. Working as part of a skilled, supportive, and experienced team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Removing mechanical, electrical, and trim components prior to panel repairs.
  • Carrying out fault-finding and diagnostic work to identify issues accurately.
  • Ordering and fitting replacement parts to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reassembling vehicles to pre-accident condition with a right-first-time approach.
  • Planning and organising workloads to maximise efficiency.
  • Conducting wheel alignment, ADAS calibration and vehicle diagnostics using cutting-edge equipment.
  • UK Driving Licence – required for moving vehicles on site.
