About the Role

You’ll play a critical part in repairing and painting motor vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

✔ Primarily responsible for vehicle preparation and painting ✔ Work within Activate Accident Repair, contributing to our fleet repair and insurance repair services


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of all types of motor vehicles
  • Carry out work in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner
  • Inspect, identify, and report vehicle structure and paint defects
  • InterpretTechnical instructions and implement them correctly
  • Prep and paint vehicles accurately, using correct mixing schemes, equipment, and drying zones
  • Verify vehicles meet safety and quality standards before handover—or log defects for future action
  • Chase and meet manufacturers’ or estimated time targets for repairs/painting
  • Report all defects found during vehicle processing

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • NVQ / ATA Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in vehicle repair/painting
  • Proven experience (time served) as a repair technician
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Sound Health & Safety knowledge
  • Proficiency in time management
  • Attention to detail for painting/restoration tasks
