Vehicle Prepper
Are you passionate about vehicle preparation and take pride in delivering a high-quality finish? Greenhous is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Vehicle Prepper to join our Bodyshop team in Livingston.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of the UK's leading automotive groups, working in a modern, well-equipped bodyshop where quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.
Hours: 7.00 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 45 hours per week.
Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels for painting by sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
- Carry out repairs to minor imperfections to ensure a smooth surface finish.
- Remove and refit vehicle components where required.
- Ensure all preparation work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Use equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Bodyshop team to meet productivity and quality targets.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- Knowledge of vehicle preparation techniques and repair processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence.
