Vehicle Technician – Audi (Glasgow)
Location: Glasgow Salary: £36,000–£50,000 (Basic, depending on experience) + Bonus Hours: Full Time, 1 in 3 Saturdays Job Type: Permanent
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a prestigious Audi dealership in Glasgow. This role offers the chance to work within a leading manufacturer environment, using the latest technological tools, and benefit from full brand training and career progression opportunities.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will perform servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to Audi standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on Audi vehicles
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify potential additional work opportunities
- Ensure compliance with Audi and manufacturer standards
- Effectively use diagnostic equipment and systems
- Accurately record work on job cards and service documentation
- Maintain high productivity and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors and workshop colleagues
- Strictly adhere to health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop

- Audi or Volkswagen Group experience
- MOT Tester qualification
- Hybrid/EV certification
- Experience with main dealer or franchise workshop roles
