Vehicle Technician (Level 2–4 / MOT / Diagnostic)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic (DOE & qualifications)
Location: Cheltenham
Contract: Permanent
Role Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a growing transport and vehicle services business in Cheltenham.
This role is open to Level 2, 3 or 4 qualified technicians and is ideal for both service/MOT-focused individuals and those with diagnostic experience. You’ll be joining a dynamic and rapidly expanding team within a modern, well-equipped workshop, with strong opportunities for training and career development.

- Servicing and repairing a wide range of light commercial vehicles and passenger cars
- Carrying out MOT preparation, testing (Class 4, 5 & 7) and associated repairs
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment and software
- Completing mechanical repairs including clutches, cambelts and general maintenance
- Conducting more advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Responding to breakdowns where required
- Accurately completing job cards, service records and inspection reports
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30
Requirements
We welcome applications from a range of skill levels:
Essential
- Level 2, 3 or 4 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience servicing and repairing vehicles

Desirable
- MOT Tester licence (Class 4, 5, 7)
- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles and retail cars
- Confident using diagnostic tools and workshop systems
