The Role
Bolton Kia have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team.
Working in a team of 12 Vehicle Technicians, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Valid UK driver's license is essential.
- Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician Qualification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location
The Bolton Kia dealership spans across two separate buildings, both based on Middlebrook Retail Park, with free parking, located off Junction 6 of the M61. The nearest train station is Horwich Parkway.
There is step-free access throughout the building.
