Vehicle Service Technician – New Fusion Centre

Earning Potential On-target earnings up to £39,190 Comprising a base salary of £30,950 – £34,180, plus an uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £5,000 per year.

  • Working hours: 5 days a week
  • Bonus opportunities: Earn extra with our refer a friend scheme (T&Cs apply)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Halfords Garage Services team at one of our new Fusion centres, featuring state-of-the-art facilities for delivering a first-class customer experience. Your role will include:

  • Carrying out interim, full, and major services
  • Conducting follow-up repair and replacement work
  • Handling services such as tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, and suspension

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Qualification: Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or équivalent time-served experience
  • Driving licence: Valid UK licence with no more than 9 penalty points

  • Proven track record in light vehicle servicing (interim, full, and major)
  • Proficiency in:
    • Replacing brakes, steering, and suspension components
    • Air conditioning servicing
    • Repair and replacement work
