BMW Vehicle Technician

Location: Hedin Automotive (North London, East London, Kent) Salary: Up to £60,000 OTE, uncapped earnings with overtime on Saturdays

Main Duties

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to BMW/MINI UK standards
  • Performing high-quality maintenance and repairs following manufacturer guidelines, ensuring safety and optimal vehicle performance
  • Conducting thorough inspections of vehicle components to identify wear, damage, or required replacements
  • Meeting productivity and quality targets
  • Advising customers on additional repair needs and providing expert technical guidance
  • Communicating professionally with customers via video health checks and CitNows
  • Staying updated on technical advancements and BMW/MINI innovations
  • Road testing vehicles when required

Your Profile

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • An IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (equivalent accepted)
  • Experience in a main dealer or reputable service/repair environment (preferably BMW/MINI)
  • Strong expertise in complex repairs and maintenance
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK with a clean driving licence (minimum 1-year validity)
