Fix Auto UK is the fastest-growing, professional repairer network in the UK and part of a global business of more than 700 bodyshops in ten countries. Working with seven of the top 20 UK motor insurance companies collectively the network repairs over 150,000 vehicles per year.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Technician to join our team. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles to manufacturer specifications, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and trim components. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient repair of vehicles, contributing to our reputation for delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Senior Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient dismantling of vehicles, including removal of mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair damage to vehicle structures and systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and repair methods.
- Reassemble vehicles, ensuring proper alignment and functionality of all components.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Senior Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle MET Technician in a similar automotive repair environment.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and trim systems.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment for vehicle repair and assembly.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair and maintenance (desired).
