Vehicle Technician Opportunity – Colchester
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 Location: Colchester Closing Date: 31/08/2026 Working Hours: Monday to Friday (varied as per business needs)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced, qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technicians to join our After Sales Team at Glyn Hopkin, one of the UK’s most successful motoring organisations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Technician, your role will include:
- Conducting servicing, repairs, and diagnostical checks on customer and company vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and applying technical literature to resolve issues
- Adhering to warranty procedures as outlined
- Ensuring vehicle security and cleanliness at all times
- Participating in mandatory training courses as required
- Supporting and upholding the company’s Quality System
- Maintaining a tidy workplace, personal appearance, and storage area
- Demonstrating flexibility to cover diverse tasks across the organisation as needed by management

Requirements
- A qualified Level 3 vehicle technician with proven experience
- Technical expertise in servicing, diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to follow technical procedures and warranty requirements
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organisation and professionalism
- Resilience and adaptability to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment
