Sandicliffe is one of the East Midlands’ most established and trusted automotive retailers, proudly serving our communities since 1948. With over 75 years of history and a reputation for excellence, we’re looking to expand our Nottingham FordStore workshop team.

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join our busy, modern workshop. If you have a passion for vehicle servicing and repair, and want to grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking business, we’d love to hear from you.

This role could suit candidates from a variety of backgrounds – whether you’ve worked at Halfords, Kwik Fit, an independent garage, or already within a main dealer network.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on customer and used vehicles
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer standards
  • Recording work completed and parts used accurately
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices when required
  • Keeping up to date with new vehicle models, technology, and methods through ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good technical and diagnostic skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
  • A customer-first attitude with strong communication skills
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively in a busy team environment
