Vehicle Technician – Wessex Garages

About The Role

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs? Join the team at Wessex Garages, where we pride ourselves on first-time fixes and exceptional customer satisfaction.

As a Vehicle Technician with us, you’ll benefit from full manufacturer training and ongoing support to help you grow your technical career. You’ll be working with the latest tools and technology in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

We’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to develop their skills and contribute to the continued success of our aftersales team.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests
  • Continuously developing your technical knowledge and staying up-to-date with brand standards
  • Maximising productivity by leveraging our facilities and processes
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to full customer satisfaction
  • Helping us maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance
  • Participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential

Key Information

  • Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday, Saturdays on a rota
