Vehicle Technician | Mechanic

Job Title: Vehicle Technician | Mechanic

Location: Hyundai & Mazda, Oldham

Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 basic + uncapped commission

Working Hours: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team at Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a thriving organisation where your expertise will be valued, developed, and rewarded.

You will play a key role in supporting the technical team by carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard, in line with manufacturer specifications. Your role:

  • Carry out general servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults and complete accurate repair work efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high level of quality and safety
  • Liaise confidently with customers regarding technical issues when required
  • Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to meet performance targets
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all manufacturer and company procedures and guidelines

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Experienced working within a workshop environment
  • Confident in diagnostic and mechanical repair work
  • MOT Licence holder (preferred but not essential)
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Able to work effectively towards both team and individual targets
