Vehicle Technician – Maidstone Mercedes-Benz

Key Details

  • Position: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (Permanent)
  • Location: Mercedes-Benz of Maidstone
  • Salary: Up to £43,000 OTE (including £34,000–£37,000 basic + £3,000 Productivity & Time Saved Bonus)
  • Hours: 40 hours (Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am–12:30pm)

About You

If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician, experienced Mechanic, or passionate apprentice eager to progress, we’d love to hear from you! Whether you’ve worked in dealer groups or independent garages, your skills are valuable here—brand accreditation training is provided to ensure you’re equipped for excellence with Mercedes-Benz.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a commitment to achieving the highest standards
  • Complete NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) for qualified candidates
  • A full UK driving licence is essential

Past experience with brand vehicles is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle health checks using cutting-edge diagnostic technology
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Undertake additional repairs once authorised by the customer
  • Ensure warranty repairs follow manufacturer protocols and full documentation is completed
  • Conduct road tests to confirm all issues are fully resolved
  • Maintain high-standard paperwork for regulatory compliance

In this role, you’ll contribute to exceptional customer service—delivering an unrivalled experience with every vehicle. You’ll do so while developing your skills through **NZVT-accredited and hybrid/electric vehicle training.
