The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful Mercedes-Benz dealership in Stevenage. Working within a manufacturer-trained environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to the highest standards while contributing to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete work efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop and service teams to achieve departmental objectives.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Desirable
- Mercedes-Benz experience.
- Manufacturer accreditation or franchise dealership experience.
- MOT Tester qualification.
- Hybrid and EV qualification or experience.
