Vertu Toyota Ayr
Join our team at Vertu Toyota Ayr and become a valued Vehicle Technician, working in a brand new, state-of-the-art workshop designed to support modern vehicle technology, efficiency, and technician development.
We are offering a basic salary of up to £46,790, depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 41-hour working week, plus an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.
Your Role as a Vehicle Technician
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
A Brand New Workshop Built Around You
You’ll be joining a newly built, modern Toyota workshop, equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, tools, and EV-ready facilities. This environment has been designed to support ongoing manufacturer training, safe and efficient working practices, and career progression at every level – making it an ideal opportunity for technicians who want to future-proof their skills and work with the very latest vehicle technology.

Qualifications
We’re looking for technicians across all levels, and packages on offer are dependent upon experience and qualifications. You can expect salaries such as:
- Service & Maintenance Technician – up to £38,950
- Service & Diagnostic Technician – up to £41,410
- Senior Technician – up to £43,870
- Master Technician – up to £48,790
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Have
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
