We Are Seeking an Automotive Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and Repair: Perform thorough diagnostic procedures to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in Kia and/or Ford vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various Kia and/or Ford models according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with the latest technologies, updates, and service procedures.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers, when required, to understand their vehicle concerns and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs.
- Documentation: Accurately record all services performed and parts used in the repair process. Provide detailed explanations of work completed as per company guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other Technicians and Service Advisors to efficiently manage workloads and ensure timely completion of repairs. Share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications
- Certifications: Level 3 Certification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. A Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement would also be desirable but not essential at this stage.
- Experience: Proven experience as an automotive technician. Familiarity with Kia and/or Ford diagnostic tools and software would be beneficial.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and precision in repairs. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driving Licence: Full valid UK driver's licence and clean driving record.
