As part of AAR Manchester, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional vehicle valeting services at 4 Canary Way, Swinton (M27 8AW).
The Role in Detail
The Ideal Candidate
We’re seeking a passionate Vehicle Valeter with:
- A full driving licence (with the correct classification for duty vehicles)
- Experience in logistics, vehicle appraisal, or customer-facing roles
- Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills – you’ll engage directly with customers
- A high attention to detail and commitment to uniform service standards
- Strong time management skills (on-site timings are crucial)
- A real "can-do" attitude and proactive mindset
Key Responsibilities
Your role focuses on restoring vehicles to premium valarming standards while delivering ** flawless customer service**. Key tasks include:
✅ Comprehensive Valeting:
- Washing, vacuuming, cleaning, and polishing customer and courtesy vehicles using approved materials/equipment
- Upholstery and carpet cleaning (including steam cleaning engines/compartments, if requested)
- Ensuring vehicles are collection-ready at a first-class standard that reinforces our customer confidence

✅ Health & Safety & Compliance:
- Keeping up with Housekeeping & Health & Safety regulations (e.g., chemical usage, medication, vehicle log procedures)
- Reporting all incidents/accidents to Bodyshop Management
- Recording damage/cleanliness with reception (including customer and log communications)
- Ensuring awareness of no-driving policies (insurance/medication training)
✅ ** Administrative & Coordination Responsibilities:**
- Completing office paperwork – fuel logs / driver logs for compliance
- Managing delays – informing customers/reception of any potential issues

📍 Role Details
- Hours: Mon–Fri (45hrs/week, flexible shifts)
- Salary: Pay rates in line with the Living Wage for the UK
- Location: On-site in Manchester
- Industry: UK Vehicle Valeting (supporting accident repair + comprehensive vehicle care)
