Vendor Business Lead, EMEA (Checkpoint Hybrid Mesh)

Vendor Business Manager (Checkpoint - Hybrid Mesh) | 12-Month FTC

📍 Remote (UK/EMEA) | ✈️ ~50% Travel | 💰 Competitive Salary

Westcon-Comstor is seeking a Vendor Business Manager (VBM) to lead commercial performance across EMEA for Check Point’s Hybrid Mesh product pillar under a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This high-impact, commercially driven role involves:

  • Owning vendor performance across EMEA
  • Driving go-to-market execution
  • Serving as the key interface between Check Point, Westcon, and the partner ecosystem

The Role

As Vendor Business Manager, you will ensure end-to-end vendor performance, build strategic relationships, and execute targeted campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver revenue, margin, and profitability targets
  • Drive pipeline health, forecasting, and execution discipline
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives and marketing campaigns across the region
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for Check Point stakeholders, particularly within the Hybrid Mesh specialist team
  • Align internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales) with vendor priorities
  • Engage and enable partners to grow adoption and sales
  • Provide insights, reporting, and QBRs

✔ Build strong relationships with the Check Point Hybrid Mesh specialist teams ✔ Establish cross-EMEA distribution team connections ✔ Develop product knowledge and position Hybrid Mesh confidently across diverse audiences ✔ Launch regional marketing campaigns & partner initiatives

What Success Looks Like:

✅ Strong vendor relationships and senior credibility within Hybrid Mesh ✅ Consistent delivery of sales and performance metrics ✅ Increased partner engagement & market adoption of Hybrid Mesh ✅ Data-driven, well-executed campaigns & GTM activity


About You

A commercially driven, relationship-focused professional thriving in a fast-paced, international environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong experience in IT distribution channel (vendor-distributor-reseller model)
  • Proven background in vendor management, sales, or alliance roles
  • Experience selling across European/EMEA markets
  • Excellent stakeholder management & cross-cultural communication skills
  • Analytical mindset (forecasting, pipeline management, commercial metrics)
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK & EMEA (~50%)

Desirable:

  • Exposure to cybersecurity solutions
  • Experience with vendor programs, incentives & marketing development funds (MDF)
  • Multi-country/regional role experience
