Join our Vendor Engagement Team

The Vendor Engagement team is a key part of the newly structured Vendor and Cloud Alliance within the Commercial Engagement Team. It oversees all sales activities with top vendors, ensuring alignment with the Softcat vendor framework. The team focuses on building strong relationships with sales and enablement teams to drive engaging vendor-led initiatives. It also ensures important vendor messages are delivered to the sales team at the right time and in the most effective way.

Bridging vendors and sales to create commercial value

As a Vendor Engagement Executive, you will act as the link between vendors and sales, ensuring vendor priorities are translated into engaging, targeted activities that align with Softcat's technology strategy. Working closely with vendors, Alliance Managers, and sales teams, you will drive impactful messaging, enablement, and engagement that delivers value for customers, vendors, and Softcat.

As a Vendor Engagement Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Executing vendor engagement plans aligned to Joint Business Plans and vendor priorities to drive sales engagement and growth.
  • Building and promoting compelling value propositions in collaboration with vendors, Alliance Managers, SMEs, and marketing teams.
  • Planning and delivering sales enablement initiatives, including training, incentives, focus days, and vendor events.
  • Developing strong relationships with vendors and sales teams to align priorities, increase engagement, and drive adoption.
  • Creating sales tools, training content, and supporting materials that align with Softcat's technology strategy and go-to-market plans.

  • Building strong relationships with vendors, Alliance Managers, sales, marketing, and SMEs to align priorities and drive engagement.
  • Translating vendor strategies into clear, compelling messaging and value propositions that support sales teams and customer outcomes.
  • Planning and delivering sales enablement activities, including training, focus days, incentives, and vendor-led events.
  • Executing Joint Business Plans and coordinating initiatives to ensure timely, impactful engagement across the business.
  • Creating high-quality sales and enablement materials while bringing a proactive, organised, collaborative, and commercially minded approach to every activity.
