Role: Vendor Manager
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 DOE

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Vendor Manager to play a key role within our Information Systems team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong supplier relationships, managing commercial agreements, and ensuring third-party partners consistently deliver high-quality services.

You'll act as the key link between the business and external technology suppliers, helping to drive performance, maximise value from contracts, and support the delivery of critical IT services.

The Role

As Vendor Manager, you'll take ownership of managing strategic third-party technology suppliers and ensuring vendor relationships align with business objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors, you'll help negotiate and maintain contracts that protect the organisation's interests while delivering value for money.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll influence both suppliers and internal teams, ensuring governance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the vendor landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organisation's vendor management framework.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and contractual obligations.
  • Produce regular performance reports, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, including purchase order queries, delivery delays, and service level breaches.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial reviews to ensure maximum value is achieved.
  • Work alongside external legal advisors to ensure contracts appropriately reflect business requirements.
  • Promote best practice in vendor management across the Information Systems team through guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and enhance service delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
