About the Role:
You will be an expert in your designated vendor technology, and you will be a focal point for all sales enquiries in your area of expertise. You will be advising our partners, executing on business plans for growth, having commercial responsibility and assisting them in identifying, driving and closing the opportunities.

Ownership for the relationship and day to day business management of KPI’s, revenue and profit targets. Development of the channel strategy via existing and new partnerships to drive partner sourced pipeline.
This role will report to Ignition Vendor Sales Manager.
Your Responsibilities as Vendor Manager:
- Drive vendor revenue growth and profitability across UK based partners via resale and managed services
- This role will be expected to be seen as a trusted strategic advisor into partner sales teams across corporate, public sector, SMB and Enterprise.
- Promote complementary vendor solutions and articulate the Ignition Technology value proposition.
- Working to achieve individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements.
- Key contact for the specified vendor within your remit, developing relationships at all levels of the vendor & partners organisations to be a true extension of their teams.
- Enable partner sales teams on vendor solution offerings and competitive differentiation.
- Annual and quarterly business planning and review meetings with the channel ecosystem.
- Work closely with the internal & external sales teams to set and coordinate demand generation activity.
- Proactively work with the channel team & marketing teams to:
- Implement data driven selling strategies to identify and close opportunities.
- Develop end user lead generation programs with resellers.
- Support sales & technical training programmes.
- Producing monthly sales forecast reports and statistics for Ignition Technology & vendor management.
- Any ad hoc duties as defined by your line manager.

- The ability to form, build and farm relationships. Network effectively and intelligently both internally/externally within the vendor and partner base.
- The ability to clearly articulate the vendor message to suit the audience, for example technical, commercial or financial and gain the buy in of all stakeholders.
- Ensure that a professional “research driven” approach is adopted to each meeting and opportunity.
- Liaising with internal departments e.g. Sales Ops, channel sales, marketing to fulfil customer needs, such as arranging events, campaigns demonstrations, organising quotes, to ultimately drive partner sourced pipeline.
