ROLE OVERVIEW
The Production / Vendor Coordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end production process for apparel collections, focusing on Mitchell and Ness, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams. This role acts as a key liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments such as Customer operations, buying, and logistics.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Purchase Order (PO/SMU) Management
- Oversee SMU packages and ISEPS for Mitchell and ness ranges
- Review, validate, and place purchase orders with vendors in alignment with demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Ensure PO accuracy including pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor PO confirmations, resolve discrepancies in a timely manner and report fulfilment % to the wider business.
- Maintain clear documentation, system updates and reporting for all PO activity.

Production Coordination
- Manage Critical path for SMU’s and provide SLT weekly updates on status
- Assist in managing the critical path from order placement through to final delivery
- Track production timelines and proactively identify and resolve delays
- Maintain accurate production records, including purchase orders, tech packs, and shipping documents
- Support sample development and approvals (fit, lab dips, trims, etc.)
Vendor Management
- Communicate daily with vendors and factories to monitor production status
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Ensure vendors adhere to agreed timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Support onboarding of new vendors where required
Projects, Reporting & Analytics
- Produce regular analytical reports on vendor performance, production status, and cost metrics.
- Support data-driven decision-making across sourcing and supply chain teams.
- Support in implementation automation and operational best practices
Logistics & Delivery
- Coordinate with logistics teams on shipments, delivery schedules, and documentation
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status
- Assist in managing import/export documentation where applicable
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with customer operations, merchandising, and buying teams to ensure alignment
- Communicate production updates and risks clearly to internal stakeholders
- Support seasonal planning and product launch timelines
- Support Supply Chain function with any additional administrative tasks where required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- Preferred 2+ years’ experience in a relevant Manufacturing, Vendor, Customer operations or Supply chain role
- Experience working in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience using ERP software or similar
- Familiar with production or supply chain processes
- Comfortably working remotely with vendors and as part of a wider supply chain team
- Accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting
