Location: Outskirts of Stowmarket, Suffolk

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time Early Finish on Friday!

Pay: £15.00+ per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent after completing a successful probationary period

Are you experienced in a wood workshop, furniture manufacturing, finishing, or paint shop environment and looking for your next opportunity?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer on the outskirts of Stowmarket for a Veneerer / Woodshop Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where you'll receive full training in veneering. Previous veneering experience isn't essential - if you have a background working with wood and a keen eye for quality, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Applying veneer to a range of bespoke wooden products
  • Preparing timber and components ready for finishing
  • Carrying out quality inspections to ensure a high standard of workmanship
  • Using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment
  • Working from production instructions and specifications
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has experience working in a woodshop, joinery, carpentry, cabinet making, furniture manufacturing, finishing, or paint shop environment
  • Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work
  • Is practical, hands-on, and eager to learn a specialist trade
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
