About listt.io

listt.io builds appropriate technology for nature-friendly farming. We form collaborative partnerships with innovative farming businesses and design small, lightweight, intelligent machines that solve real problems for regenerative and nature-positive agriculture.

Our current focus is a portfolio of grant-funded robotics and automation projects for farming — including a robotic soil health monitoring platform now at TRL8, alongside earlier-stage engineering projects developed with farmers and fabrication partners. Each project sits at the interface of hardware engineering and real-world agricultural practice, working closely with the farmers, engineers, and fabricators who bring them to life.

The Role

We're looking for a Venture Associate to work directly with the founding team on commercialising our lead technology platform. This is a generalist, high-trust, operational role for someone who wants to learn how an early-stage deep-tech startup goes from working product to paying customers — from the inside.

You'll sit close to the founders and own the connective tissue between product, customer, and go-to-market: managing the commercial development of a major grant-funded, TRL8 project, understanding what commercial partners actually need, and helping secure early traction across sectors such as agriculture, biodiversity projects, and construction. You'll work independently, with close mentoring from experienced founders, picking up whatever matters most that week — from a grant milestone to a partner pilot to a pricing model.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You won't have a fixed job description for long — the role will evolve as the commercial strategy sharpens and as you demonstrate where you add the most value.

What You'll Do

  • Lead innovation project management for a major grant-funded, TRL8 technology programme — tracking milestones, deliverables, and reporting
  • Provide light-touch coordination across other live engineering projects, keeping farmers, engineers, and fabrication partners aligned on requirements, timelines, and next steps
  • Drive commercial development of the project, translating a proven technology into a viable, market-ready proposition
  • Identify and build relationships with early commercial partners across sectors such as agriculture, biodiversity projects, and construction
  • Help secure early traction — pilots, partnerships, and first commercial agreements
  • Support grant and funder relationships relevant to the project's continued development
  • Prepare materials for investors, partners, and funders — decks, proposals, reports
  • Work independently on day-to-day priorities, with close mentoring and guidance from experienced founders
  • Jump into ambiguous, undefined problems across the commercial side of the business and bring structure to them

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment — startup commercial/GTM roles, sales, consulting, or venture/investment roles with commercial exposure
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage, pre-established-playbook environment; you'd rather figure it out than wait for instructions
  • Strong communication skills — able to talk credibly with agronomists and farmers as well as investors and partners
  • Some commercial or customer-facing experience (sales, business development, partnerships, or customer research)
  • Genuine interest in agriculture, sustainability, robotics, or agtech (prior sector experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Based in or able to commute to London for a hybrid working pattern

Why Join

  • Own commercialisation of a proven, working robotic technology from (near) zero — rare exposure this early
  • Join at a point where our portfolio of grant-funded robotics projects is actively expanding, with a new project launching later this year — real scope to shape how it's run
  • Direct, daily access to the founding team and the full picture of how an early-stage company is built
  • Broad scope and real responsibility from day one — not a coffee-fetching "associate" role
  • A front-row seat to a mission that matters: technology that helps farming and nature-positive projects work with nature, not against it
  • Small team, flat structure, and a fast path to growing your own scope as the company grows
