Venture Builder | HealthTech (London)

Venture Builder – Digital Health & Medtech (London & Remote Parts Possible)

About the Role: Founders Factory builds and funds startups with exceptional entrepreneurs and global corporate partners, based in London with a global reach. We empower visionary founders by providing capital, hands-on support, and access to leading industry partners like Aviva, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, and HSBC.

Our focus? Reinventing healthcare delivery. Traditional hospitals face unsustainable challenges—capacity constraints, aging populations, and soaring costs. Cutting-edge technologies (AI, remote diagnostics, IoT) now enable safer care outside clinical walls, offering lower-cost, outcomes-driven, and highly personalised healing. This is your chance to shape the future of healthcare.

  • Mindset: Hands-on, high ownership, multi-disciplinary (product, design, growth, tech).
  • Skills: Tech-savvy, entrepreneurial, and evidence-led (opportunistic but commercial).
  • Values: Championof Founders Factory’s mission and learn-by-doing culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

đź’Ş Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end startup journey—from problem definition and MVP design to shipping, testing, and iteration.
  • Accelerate user acquisition using lean-experimental approaches (test assumptions, generate fast insights).
  • Shape product vision aligning user needs with technical and commercial realities.
  • Collaborate closely with founders—challenge assumptions, sharpen strategy, and drive momentum, even in ambiguity.
  • Support founders through studio stages by providing evidence-backed inputs for investment committee decisions.
  • Anticipate opportunities by tracking market dynamics, emerging tech, and real user behaviour.
  • Communicate proactively with founders and the studio team—share progress, learnings, trade-offs, and recommendations.

🎯 Required Skills & Mindset:

  • Digital health/medtech 0→1 experience (startup, side project, volunteer, or research—AI or medical device development is a huge plus).
  • Lean + experimental expertise—speed of learning, focus, and agility over perfection.
  • Wear multiple hats (product, design, tech, growth), knowing when to seek external specialist support.
  • Technical ability—build no-code/low-code tools or prototypes to fast-track validation.
  • Commercial awareness—think about ICPs, value propositions, pricing, and GTM (Go-To-Market).
  • Strong communicator—present ideas openly, seeking feedback to refine strategies.
  • Set expectations with founders and maintain transparent, productive relationships.

  • Product-obsessed: passionate about products people love and their performance.
  • Evolving mindset—hungry to improve skills, take calculated risks, and learn fast.
  • Embeds strong leadership—drives outcomes with optimism and approachability.

🚫 What This Role isn’t:

  • A detached designer or engineer—you’ll be hands-on in building and decision-making.
  • A consultant—no office-deck work from afar.
  • A traditional 9–5 job—this is fast, flexible, and always challenging.

At Founders Factory, momentum matters. If you’re ready to build, ship, and iterate, let’s change healthcare together.
