About the role This is a new role that will be responsible for managing our new skills hub as well as fundraising at CIBSE. We opened a new state of the art facility with flexible meetings space and purpose-built Auditorium. The role will be responsible for creating commercial opportunities in our new Skills Hub. What you will do Agreeing venue and fundraising targets with MD. Create a sales and marketing strategy to attract commercial customers to our venue. Implementing a strategy to contact potential donors – individual members, manufacturers, patrons, trustees, trusts and the wider industry. Work with facilities and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective event delivery. Appointment and monitoring of third-party contractors to deliver customer event requirements. Represent CIBSE at key industry functions and events. Planning and Instigating sales campaigns. Collaborating across CIBSE to share data and generate prospects. Work with Marketing to create promotional material for Skills Hub. Regular reporting of sales pipelines and prospects. Attend CIBSE events at the Skills Hub and deliver exemplary customer service.
