What We're Looking For

As the Vertical Marketing Sr. Specialist, you will step into a high-visibility, 12-month maternity cover contract to lead and drive the EMEA Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for our critical Transport & Logistics (T&L), Government, and Public Safety portfolios.

In this role, you aren’t just managing campaigns—you are the chief vertical champion. Working in lockstep with our Sales Strategy Leads and Global Vertical Marketing teams, you will act as the regional go-to expert and trusted advisor. You will be directly accountable for delivering powerful thought leadership, accelerating pipeline impact, elevating Zebra’s brand preference and advocacy, and influencing sustainable, long-term growth across EMEA.

Leveraging sharp market insights and competitive intelligence, you will shape our regional value propositions, translating global strategy into high-impact, local execution. If you are a strategic B2B marketer who loves storytelling, commercial collaboration, and making a measurable business impact, this is your stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and develop the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for the Transport & Logistics (T&L), Government, and Public Safety verticals in the EMEA region, ensuring perfect business alignment between high-level marketing priorities and strategic sales objectives.
  • Partner closely with Vertical Sales Strategy Leads to co-author and implement joint business plans aimed at driving pipeline acceleration, unlocking revenue growth, and delivering measurable regional success.
  • Act as the primary industry expert, thought-leader, spokesperson, and chief storyteller for the Transport & Logistics and Public Sector verticals across the region.
  • Lead the strategic definition of vertical audiences and buyer personas, developing hyper-targeted marketing strategies to effectively reach, engage, and convert them.
  • Champion and maintain a laser-focused alignment across all marketing initiatives for the assigned verticals, ensuring every campaign and activity supports core strategic business objectives.
  • Take ownership and strategic responsibility for elevating Zebra's brand awareness, reputation, and customer perception within the T&L, Government, and Public Safety sectors across EMEA.
  • Author and oversee the development of compelling, narrative-driven content that targets key buyer personas and aligns with Zebra's vertical messaging to influence both end-users and channel partners.
  • Collaborate seamlessly across a dynamic ecosystem of global and regional stakeholders—including Vertical Sales Strategy Leads, Portfolio Marketing, Industry Sales Leaders, Global BMI, and the Global CoE—to co-create and align successful vertical strategies.
  • Manage the vertical marketing budget strategically, with clear commercial accountability for maximizing, measuring, and reporting on marketing ROI.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
