Vestibular Audiologist — Locum Opportunity
Location: East Midlands Trust
Availability: Weekdays and Weekends
Day Rate: £600 Limited Company / £535.62 PAYE

YMS is a specialist insourcing provider working with NHS Trusts across England to help reduce waiting list pressures across outpatients, diagnostics and surgery. We work collaboratively with NHS partners to deliver high quality, patient centred services that mirror each Trust's own standards and protocols.
The Role
The Vestibular Audiologist will provide on-site clinical services, focusing on the assessment and management of patients with balance and vestibular disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive vestibular and audiological assessments
- Interpreting diagnostic results and developing evidence-based management and rehabilitation plans
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Accurate documentation in line with NHS and YMS standards
- Clear communication of findings and treatment options to patients and referrers
- Adhering to clinical governance, infection control and data protection requirements
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification in Audiology (BSc or MSc in Audiology or equivalent)
- Current registration with HCPC or AHCS
- Minimum 2 years' experience in vestibular assessment and management
- Experience using vestibular testing equipment and balance rehabilitation techniques
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical time effectively
- Experience within NHS or similar healthcare settings is highly beneficial
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
