About Us
Now for emergency and critical care at Vets Now Peterborough
At Vets Now Peterborough, our committed team of vet surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists work hard through the nights, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure sick and injured pets get the very best care when daytime vets are closed. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to join our team, on a full-time basis, to provide emergency care when it’s needed the most.
Work-Life Balance
This role consists of working an average of 40 hours per week across weekday nights, weekend days and nights, as well as a share of bank holidays – never working more than three nightshifts in a row. We appreciate that one size doesn’t fit all and are happy to consider part time applicants.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
