Veterinary Position: Small Animal Vet (Independent Practice)
We are seeking a capable small animal Veterinarian to join our independent practice as the second veterinarian, working alongside the Principal Vet.
Job Details
- No after-hours on-call (managed by Vetsnow).
- Fixed weekly rota of 30 – 40 hours, including:
- Some evenings
- Saturday mornings
- Sole charge consulting (no postgraduate oversight).
- Caseload: Primarily dogs and cats, with occasional care for:
- Small mammals
- Birds
- Reptiles

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Home visits may be required on occasion.
- Duties include:
- Surgery assistance
- Clinical consultations
- Flexible arrangements may be available (consult-only, term-time-only, or hybrid models will be considered).

Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: £60,000 – £70,000 per year.
Requirements
- Currently working in Britain.
- Minimum 4 years of veterinary experience.
- RCVS membership is mandatory.
Location
- Practice-based role – in-person attendance required.
