Field Veterinary Advisor - UK & Ireland
Are you a farm vet looking to leave clinical practice?
If you're an experienced farm animal vet who enjoys building relationships, sharing knowledge, and wants to take your career beyond practice, this could be the perfect next step.
This is an opportunity to move into industry while continuing to use your clinical expertise every day. You'll become a trusted technical adviser, supporting veterinary professionals, influencing product adoption and helping shape commercial and marketing initiatives across the UK and Ireland.
This is a highly visible, field-based role, with around 60% of your time spent travelling throughout the UK and Ireland. You'll work closely with commercial, technical and marketing colleagues, building strong relationships with veterinary practices, key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders.
Whether you're delivering technical training, presenting to veterinary groups, contributing to marketing campaigns or representing the business at industry events, no two days will be the same.
Experienced Veterinary Technical Support professionals looking for a broader, more commercially focused position will also be considered.
What will you be doing?
- Providing scientific and technical support to veterinary practices, farmers and internal teams.
- Delivering engaging presentations and training sessions to veterinary professionals and customers.
- Working closely with Territory Managers to support commercial objectives and product growth.
- Building relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinary groups and farm committees.
- Creating technical content, articles, advertisements and educational materials to support marketing activity (approximately 40% of the role).
- Representing the business at UK agricultural events and occasional European industry meetings.
- Collaborating across sales, marketing and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
