Veterinary Care Assistant
Exciting Opportunity: Veterinary Care Assistant at Northwich Vets for Pets
Our bright, spacious, and trigger-calibre standards paper is conveniently located within Pets at Home Chester Way Retail Park, close to essential amenities and just half a mile from Northwich train station, making it the perfect base to support our friendly team at Northwich Vets for Pets.
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the superior standards of our daily operations:
About the Role
- Hours: 30-40 per week (Monday-Friday + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings)
- Schedule: Shifts between 8:30am–6:30pm
- Competitive pay: Aligned with National Minimum Wage
Responsibilities
You’ll support the clinical team with both clinical and non-clinical tasks, ensuring exceptional care for pets while delivering outstanding client service.
Key duties include:
- Assisting with daily practice functions
- Welcoming and advising pet owners
- Providing compassionate support to clients
- Collaborating with the veterinary team
- Maintaining a professional, client-focused environment
