Veterinary Care Assistant

Exciting Opportunity: Veterinary Care Assistant at Northwich Vets for Pets

Our bright, spacious, and trigger-calibre standards paper is conveniently located within Pets at Home Chester Way Retail Park, close to essential amenities and just half a mile from Northwich train station, making it the perfect base to support our friendly team at Northwich Vets for Pets.

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the superior standards of our daily operations:


About the Role

  • Hours: 30-40 per week (Monday-Friday + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings)
  • Schedule: Shifts between 8:30am–6:30pm
  • Competitive pay: Aligned with National Minimum Wage

Responsibilities

You’ll support the clinical team with both clinical and non-clinical tasks, ensuring exceptional care for pets while delivering outstanding client service.

Key duties include:

  • Assisting with daily practice functions
  • Welcoming and advising pet owners
  • Providing compassionate support to clients
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team
  • Maintaining a professional, client-focused environment
