Leeds Birstall 24/7 Hospital are looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to join their friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced team.

24/7 RCVS accredited OOH hospital and referral centre Family run award-winning practice 40 hrs Contract (35 hrs per week + 1 in 4 weekends (2 x10hr shifts)) Fantastic educational and career progression opportunities

About us:

Set up by our JVPs, Keith and Julie Leonard in 2012, we are a family run, RCVS Accredited Hospital and Emergency Service Clinic, providing OOH and referral support to 16 referring surgeries. This is run alongside a thriving first opinion business meaning we get the best of both worlds: the case variety you expect to find in a busy general practice and the opportunity to provide high quality, advanced, referral level care to our patients in-house.

With an experienced team of over 60 colleagues, an abundance of qualifications in a range of disciplines (ECC and small animal surgery) and a fantastic management network to provide support and progression opportunities we really believe there is no better team to be a part of.

The role:

You will be working as part of a highly skilled and experienced team. This role is full time working 40 hours including 35 hours per week plus 1 in 4 weekends (x2 10 hours shifts). The hours will include a mixture of early and late shifts between 7.30am and 8.30pm.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 years' experience as a VCA in a vet practice or Level 2 Diploma in Animal Management or City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants.

Most importantly we are looking for someone who will embrace our team culture in which we have fun at work, get better everyday and look out for each other.
