A day in the life

As the Veterinary Engagement Manager for ManyPets, you will lead the planning and delivery of our veterinary engagement plan across the UK veterinary market.

Working within the Pet Health team, and in partnership with Marketing and Product teams, you will translate business priorities into campaigns, communications and (in-person / virtual) events that strengthen relationships with veterinary professionals, increase adoption of ManyPets propositions and generate measurable commercial outcomes.

You will play a key role in the rollout of new initiatives, including our pre-authorisation proposition, enhanced veterinary service offering and VetPortal adoption activities and own delivery across multiple initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Your accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver quarterly veterinary engagement plans, translating business priorities into measurable objectives and engagement activity.
  • Lead communications to veterinary professionals through email campaigns, surveys, newsletters and other engagement channels, ensuring measurable engagement outcomes.
  • Lead the comms rollout and engagement activity for new veterinary propositions, including pre-authorisation and enhanced veterinary services.
  • Drive awareness, adoption and engagement with the VetPortal through targeted communications and campaigns, using performance data to optimise results.
  • Maintain and grow the veterinary contact database through engagement and lead-generation activities.
  • Maintain CRM data quality and use marketing technology and reporting tools to improve engagement and targeting.
  • Lead the development and delivery of veterinary-facing content in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve veterinary engagement and proposition adoption.
  • Organise and execute all veterinary event commitments, including webinars, virtual events, conferences, exhibitions and sponsorship activities.
  • Manage event logistics, registrations, materials, stakeholder communications and post-event follow-up.
  • Plan and deliver webinars, exhibitions, conferences and sponsorship activity, including London Vet Show, SPVS, BSAVA and BVNA.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure veterinary communications are accurate, timely and aligned to business priorities.
  • Own project plans, timelines and activity schedules across veterinary engagement initiatives, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Support budget tracking and administration for veterinary engagement activities and events.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, AI and better ways of working.
  • Work with Vet team colleagues, Product and Marketing Insights to gather feedback from veterinary professionals to inform future propositions, comms and CX improvements.
  • Work as part of a matrix with Marketing (Acquisition, Engagement, Brand, Creative) and EPD colleagues to ensure alignment of resources for Veterinary engagement activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
