An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a growing independent small animal practice in the Surrey area.
This role would suit an RVN who enjoys a varied nursing position and wants to work within a modern, patient-focused environment where both clinical standards and client care are highly valued.
The practice is committed to creating a positive workplace culture where nurses are encouraged to fully utilise their skills and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.
About the Practice
This is a proudly independent small animal practice dedicated to delivering exceptional veterinary care with a personal touch.
The team combines compassionate patient care with modern veterinary medicine, ensuring pets and owners receive the highest standard of service in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The practice has been thoughtfully designed to minimise stress for patients, with separate waiting and consulting areas for cats and dogs, pet-friendly flooring throughout, and a strong focus on creating a calm experience for both pets and owners.

Working Pattern
- 4 or 5 days per week
- 9:00am – 7:00pm
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
- Saturday hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm
- No out-of-hours
About You
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Passionate about patient care and animal welfare
- Confident in all aspects of general nursing duties
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Positive and proactive team player
- Keen to contribute to a growing independent practice
Key Responsibilities
- Nurse consultations
- Theatre nursing and anaesthesia monitoring
- Inpatient care
- Laboratory work and diagnostics
- Patient admissions and discharges
- Client education and preventative healthcare
- Supporting the veterinary team in delivering high clinical standards
