We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Vet Nurse to join the OOH ECC Night team at a small animal veterinary hospital in the Taunton area, Somerset.
Role
- 4 nights on, 7 nights off then 3 nights on, 7 nights off
- The practice is an RCVS accredited, purpose-built, and well-equipped hospital with up-to-date equipment and technologies.
- You will join the OOH team working alongside the night vet and together providing care for the inpatients, as well as preparing for OOH surgeries and carrying out anaesthesia.
- A twilight RVN will support you with arranging appointments, triaging patients upon arrival, and supporting with infection control.
- The role offers a great development opportunity with a busy caseload including a wide range of species and a varied case-load ranging from traumas, toxin ingestions, blocked bladders, GDVs, C-sections, and much more!
- A great opportunity to pursue your interests and certificates and CPD are encouraged and funded.
- Based in the beautiful area of Somerset close to the coast and surrounded by stunning countryside.

Requirements
- Qualified Vet Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary Package
- Salary to £35,000.00 per annum FTE to reflect your experience
- CPD fully funded, paid holidays, healthcare scheme, paid RCVS and VDS fees, pension scheme, discounts, etc.
