About Veterinary Vision
Join our expanding Ophthalmology team at our new Bamber Bridge Hospital!
We are a leading, referral-only ophthalmic practice with four purpose-built centres across the UK: Penrith, Sunderland, Glasgow, and Bamber Bridge. Currently expanding to accommodate an increased caseload, we are seeking an additional veterinary ophthalmologist to join our team.
With just 16 clinicians in total across all sites, we offer a highly collaborative environment. Despite our growth, we maintain a personalised, hands-on approach to each case.
Specialty Offerings:
- Rare services such as retinal re-attachment surgery
- Support from 3 qualified ophthalmology certificate holders at Bamber Bridge
- State-of-the-art, sustainable facility designed for cutting-edge ophthalmic care

Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ophthalmic care, including referral cases
- Perform complex procedures such as retinal surgery
- Contribute to clinical training and mentorship
- Work alongside a small, unified team, ensuring continuity of care
Qualifications & Essentials
Must-haves:
- RCVS registration
- A passion for ophthalmology
- Ability to work within a collaborative yet autonomous team
