We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wirral Vets on a part-time basis.
The Wirral is a fantastic place to live and work, with beautiful beaches on our doorstep and vibrant Liverpool just a short drive or train ride away. We frequently collaborate with other local IVC practices, fostering a community of continuous improvement.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
- 8:00am – 6:30pm 3 days a week
- Flexibility required to meet the needs of the practice

Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and their pets at reception
- Answering telephone enquiries and booking appointments
- Processing payments efficiently and accurately
- Managing client records and updating systems
- Supporting the clinical team with general administrative tasks
