Veterinary Receptionist

Birch Veterinary Centre has been established for over 100 years, with our main branch in Oxton and a consulting-only practice in Moreton. Oxton is close to the village with great local amenities and excellent transport links to Liverpool.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You'll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Your Duties And Responsibilities Will Include
Welcoming clients in a friendly, professional manner Managing appointments and reception diaries Handling enquiries and converting them into appointments Maintaining accurate client and pet records Promoting preventive healthcare and practice services Taking payments and securing follow-up appointments Keeping the reception area clean and organised

This a part time roll working 24 hours per week Monday–Wednesday, 9:30am–6:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) with a minimum of 4 Saturdays per year, 9am–2pm and no out-of-hours work.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
At least 1 year’s receptionist experience (veterinary experience preferred) Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated, organised and professional Willing and able to travel between branches to cover holidays
