Role: Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Downland Vets, Bordon

Contract: Part-Time, Permanent

Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising 52 nursing staff, 22 vets, and 30 support staff within our group across a number of busy clinics. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, with nursing certificate holders in areas such as medical nursing, feline nursing, emergency and critical care, surgical, and anaesthesia. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications, and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Your duties/responsibilities will include:

  • Greet customers professionally and handle telephone inquiries promptly.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, cancelling, and rearranging.
  • Record, pass on, and follow up on enquiries.

This is a part-time permanent role working Tuesday 2:00pm-6:30pm, Thursday 2:00pm-6:30pm and Friday 9:00am-6:30pm with a (1 hour lunch break).
