Location: St George's Vets, Wolverhampton
Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time, Permanent

St George’s has recently gone through an exciting period of growth, incorporating Carmel Vets into our brand! Our group now consists of nine individual sites, each with its own unique features. These include: the Wolverhampton Consulting Centre, Albrighton, Bushbury, Halesowen, Perton, Sedgley, St George’s Vet Hospital (Wolverhampton), Fallings Park, and Penn Fields.
We have a skilled clinical team who can offer an extensive range of services from nail clips to orthopaedic surgery. We are equipped with all the tools you’d expect from a modern practice, including operating theatres, Idexx labs, ultrasound, dental X-ray, a CT scanner, digital X-ray, digital microscope, endoscope, laparoscopic kit, and much more!
How you'll make a difference
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team at St George’s Vets. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and personable individual who thrives in a busy environment and is committed to delivering a high standard of client care.

Working pattern
This is a flexible cover role providing support across all nine of our sites. The position involves working shifts between 8:00am and 6:45pm, Monday to Friday, with participation in a Saturday rota (approximately one in every three Saturdays, 8:00am to 4:15pm). The successful candidate will be contracted to 15 hours a week with regular overtime opportunities available of up to an extra 20hours a week during high holiday periods.
Shift patterns vary from week to week to meet operational needs; however, your schedule will be provided at least four weeks in advance to support effective planning.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, well-organised, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach are essential. Previous experience within a veterinary or medical environment is desirable; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
