Veterinary Receptionist - (Maternity Cover up to 12 months)

Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Advisor
Salary: £25,038pa
Location: Pets 'n' Vets, Roundhouse Hospital
Job Type: Fixed Term - (Maternity Cover up to 12 months)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are currently seeking a new receptionist to join our fantastic team!
We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment.
The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and registering new customers
- Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care
- Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries
- Managing customer expectations regarding wait time
- Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
- Taking payments
- Promoting services
Our receptionists are our first point of contact for our clients and should create the image and the first impression of our business, remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times.
Our receptionists should make a positive impression and make clients feel confident in our service as a whole and helps to put them at ease if they are worried or apprehensive.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience of working in a clinic setting essential
- Confident using the telephone
- Cash handling and till operation
- IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
