About us:

You would be joining practice partners Julie Ling MRCVS, Claire Bullock RVN and our amazing team of 3 vets, 6 RVN’s and 3 Client Care Advisors. The position would be suitable for an experienced vet or a recent graduate. We have an experienced team to offer support, guidance and an amazing graduate package. We are a close-knit team focused on excellent teamwork and high standards of care. We are one of those teams who like to spend time together outside of work as well as at work!

We are RCVS accredited, a silver ISFM practice, a silver rabbit friendly practice as well as a training practice for student nurses. Our Veterinary Surgeon Karen has a post graduate certificate in Exotic Animal Practice, Julie has a certificate in Cardiology, Hayley our RVN has a certificate in Small Animal Nutrition and Claire has a certificate in Feline Nursing. We have a regular orthopaedic surgeon that visits the practice as well as unlimited access to Vet CT for support with any clinical cases.

We have a well-equipped practice including digital x-ray, laboratory, ultrasound, tonopen, doppler, full surgical equipment, therapeutic laser, multi parameter and a bair hugger.

We are situated in the small town of Kirkby in Ashfield, less than a 10-minute walk to the closest train station, 15 minutes from the M1 motorway and 30 minutes from Nottingham and East Midlands airport. We are a 30-minute drive away from the beautiful Peak District and Sherwood Forest.
