At Medivet Ashton 24 Hour, we’re offering an opportunity for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to thrive in a progressive, well-equipped veterinary practice—without the burden of out-of-hours work.
About the Role
Position Summary
- A full-time role (40 hrs over 4 days/week) with a consistent structure (typically 9am–7pm).
- No out-of-hours commitments—support provided by a dedicated night team for seamless patient care.
- Part-time applications indicated.
- Weekend/holiday policy: Work one weekend in six, plus pro-rata bank holidays.

You’ll join a thriving 5-vet team, including a hands-on Partner and a surgical certificate holder. This role provides:
- Autonomy with the opportunity for sole charge (ideal for confident, experienced all-rounders).

You’re a qualified MRCVS with: ✔ A passion for clinical excellence and client care ✔ Strong teamwork skills, wishing to make a real difference in a supportive practice ✔ The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating effectively

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care in consults and surgery, maintaining high standards of compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
