Veterinary Surgeon

Veterinary Surgeon - Exotic Caseload

Location: West Sussex Discipline: Small animal & exotics

Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon looking to join a dynamic and growing team? Look no further. A leading veterinary practice is expanding its services in West Sussex and is on the hunt for dedicated veterinary surgeon. This is a fantastic chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility that prioritises both patient care and employee satisfaction.

Imagine working in a modern, four-floor clinic equipped with species-specific waiting areas, consult rooms, and wards for feline, canine, and exotic patients. The clinic boasts cutting-edge inpatient, surgical, and diagnostic facilities, including:

  • Two theatres with laparoscopic equipment
  • A separate dental suite with dental X-ray
  • A digital X-ray suite
  • A Siemens CT scanner
  • An in-house laboratory
  • A tortoise hibernation hotel

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Be RCVS registered
  • Have a minimum of three years of small animal experience
  • Be confident in routine surgery and consultations
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for animal welfare and client care

Being a Vet GDP advisor would be a bonus.

The salary package is competitive (from £45,000 FTE, depending on experience) with the potential for a discretionary annual bonus of up to 5%.
