Take the next step in your veterinary career with a practice that is committed to your development and professional interests. Whether you’re looking to enhance your clinical skills or pursue a particular area of interest, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
About the Role
Our caseload offers the variety you would expect from a well-established general practice, with a high proportion of insured clients allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly. We aim to keep as much work in-house as possible and regularly welcome visiting specialists. We would also actively support anyone looking to develop specialist skills within the practice.
You’ll become part of a passionate and inclusive team with a great sense of humour and a shared love of cake! The team brings together a wealth of experience across general practice, referral work, and client care, while our nursing team of four RVN’s alone has more than 40 years of combined experience. We have a very passionate and supportive client care team of four, and we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients and building lasting relationships with our clients.
There are no out-of-hours requirements, supporting a healthy work/life balance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
