A rare opportunity has come available for an experienced vet to join our colleagues at Sutton Coldfield The practice has very low turn over of staff allowing us to develop all our colleagues This is ideally a full-time position but there is flexibility to work the shift patterns that suit you allowing you a real work life balance We can support CPD and certificates We have visiting specialists including Orthopaedics 1 in 3 weekends with the plan to move to 1 in 6 weekends Our colleagues' well being is vital for us and to support this we have 2 qualified Mental Health First Aiders in practice

Our practice is a deceptively large stand-alone practice, that has undergone an extension giving us a lovely spacious workspace. With 4 consult rooms, X-Ray room, Isolation wards, separate cat and dog wards, a spacious theatre and a separate room for dirty procedures.

The team consists of 5 Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 2 Student Veterinary Nurses completing placement who are all supported by Practice Manager and 3 Client Care Advisors. We are also lucky enough to have an insurance administrator to help us in the team.

We also have visiting specialists in Orthopaedics and heart scans

About this role:

This role is ideally for full-time hours, but this can be worked in a number of flexible options which the practice is open to discuss. This will include weekend work which is currently worked on a 1 in 3 basis but will soon hopefully move to a 1 in 6.
