Ready to thrive in a practice where people and pets truly matter?
We’re growing our friendly, forward-thinking team at Sittingbourne Vets for Pets – and we’d love you to be part of it.
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon who shares our values of kindness, respect, and putting pets and their people first. This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to feel valued, supported, and part of a team that genuinely cares.
🌟 Who We Are
We’re a well-established practice with a loyal and growing client base. For over eight years, we’ve proudly delivered high standards of care in a warm and welcoming environment. Clients often tell us that we feel more like family than a clinic – and that’s exactly how we like it.
We’re owned and led by a vet and a veterinary nurse, which means we understand the real-life challenges of clinical work. Our leadership is grounded in compassion, honesty, and a deep respect for our people – and that shows in the culture we’ve created.
We’re a Practice Standards Scheme member, proud holders of a Good Client Service Award, and committed to making our practice feel like a place where both team members and clients feel seen and supported.
You’ll be joining a supportive team of 3 experienced vets, 5 fantastic RVNs, a VCA, and 4 friendly receptionists – all of whom believe in teamwork, learning together, and always making time for a good chat (and a slice of cake!).
Our clinical facilities include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
